Today hasn’t played out the way WalmartBrat would have liked so far, but the good news is that he just made the money at the Main Event and is guaranteed to take home $19,293. He lost a huge 800K pot a few hours back in a set over set situation but managed to navigate his short stack successfully through the money bubble.

He’s currently at about 80,000 chips, which is well below average stack of 320,000, but he’s still alive and kicking, and all you need is a chip and a chair at the Main Event, so fingers crossed that he can make some more magic happen late in Day 4.

WalmartBrat himself will likely check in shortly with more details, but we wanted to quickly update fans out there with the news that not only is he through to Day 4, but he’s got a 248,700 stack to work with, which is well above average.

From the announcement of shuffle up and deal he got down to work and steadily built up his stack throughout the day, putting himself in great position at the end of the day to continue his run here at the 2010 WSOP Main Event.

Like each of his days, WalmartBrat’s stack has been yoyoing up and down today, as he’s definitely not shy about getting involved in pots and moving chips around. At last check, however, he was sitting on about 130,000 chips, which is above the average stack of 115,000.

About 2,500 players started today on Day 3 but the elimination pace has been fast and furious, as we’re already down to 1,850 players left after four hours of play.

WalmartBrat was down to about 40,000 chips right before the dinner break, but he’s still alive and sitting on chips, with a great shot to getting through to Day 3. He’s been hovering between 40,000-60,000 chips for most of the day, but hopefully he’s saving his heater for the end of the game and will chip up in the last level.

For all the WalmartBrat fans out there, he’s still alive and kicking here on Day 2a, sitting on about 65,000 chips at last count. They’ve been at it for nearly 6 hours so far and he’s managed to grow his stack, so smooth sailing so far at the Rio today.

Apparently there was plenty of spare run-good to go around, as the first time we checked on WalmartBrat after the break he’d doubled to sit on close to 50,000, and was celebrating in the traditional way: with a massage…

At last check he was still on close to 50,000 with a little under two hours to play before Day 1a wraps up.
