I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather lately. This year have started out really crappy poker wise, and that’s starting to really bug me. I’m up for the year, but im still running like $100k under allin-EV. I’ve always enjoyed what I’m doing, but I’ve had trouble motivating myself during the last month. To make a long story short, I’m currently just relaxing and trying to find life-EV instead of grinding. It feels good taking a break from everything surrounding poker.

There’s really no point in grinding when your head isn’t in the right place, and there’s really no way you can win when you get semi-tilted as soon as someone sucks out on you. I’ve also been obsessing with my all time high and how far away I am from it, so a break seemed to be the only way to get my mind on something else.

With that said, I’ve tried going from pretty much sucking at life to owning life. I’m working out more than ever, taken care of some things I had postponed for too long and I’ve also booked my trips for this summer.

I’m going to Las Vegas the 1st of July to play the Main event, and I´ll go home the 17th unless im still in and really deep. I just can’t get enough of Vegas, and I’ve got some sick expectations on this trip. After that, it´s time for a remake of last year’s tour to Asia, but with some changes. We are starting out by going 9 days to Vietnam, and then going to Macau and Hong Kong to check out what’s happening over there and how it is compared to Vegas. To top it off, we’ll be meeting up with some IRLs (slang for non poker players) in Shanghai for 12 days of partying/hanging out/whatever. Can’t wait :D

So.. that’s that. I’ve also been skydiving today. It’s on my bucket list, and this week felt like a good time to do it instead of just thinking about it. It was really cool, and I think everyone should try it at least once. I’m thinking about taking a skydiving certificate since it’s really not as hard as you might think – but I’m not entirely sure whether I have the time or not. Oh wellz, here are some pics from my jump. Just whatching them makes me wanna drive out and do it again tomorrow.

Take care and make sure to run better than me,
WalmartBrat
